The TJ1, TJ2, and TJ3 were designed in collaboration with Nashville freelance musician, Tyler Jaeger. It is based on a Cat Anderson style mouthpiece. Tyler wanted a wide cushioned rim while maintaining a small inner diameter with a shallow V-bowl shaped cup. The rim and cup design allow plenty of support for long strenuous playing in all registers. Tyler Jaeger uses these three mouthpieces for the majority of his lead/commercial playing. They follow the same sizing convention that the SP1, SP2, and SP3 doing. TJ1 being the shallowest for most extreme high range playing, and TJ3 being deepest of the 3 models, but still shallow. These are recommended to be paired with the Patrick Commercial Backbore.
