The PJ model was designed with Nashville Symphony Principal Trombone player and studio musician Paul Jenkins.
From Paul: "This mouthpiece offers the sound and ease that I am looking for when approaching the vast majority of repertoire that I tackle on a daily basis. The sound has depth without sacrificing clarity and I am able to execute passages with minimal effort in all but the most extreme registers. It is a very well rounded mouthpiece for any orchestral player."
A native of Plano, TX, Paul Jenkins has served as the Principal Trombonist of the Nashville Symphony since the 2014-2015 season. Prior to joining the NSO, Paul spent one year as Acting Associate Principal of the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra. He studied trombone at Northwestern University with Michael Mulcahy and at The Colburn School with Mark Lawrence. He has performed all over the world with artists ranging from Aretha Franklin to Yo-Yo Ma and can be heard on numerous television, video game, and film soundtracks
