The mission of Patrick Mouthpieces is to provide trumpet players the tools necessary to perform on their instruments what they hear in their head, and to enable us all to switch between musical genres and not compromise sound or performance.

This mouthpiece is modeled after one of the first Bach New York 10 1/2 C's ever made. (It was made sometime in the late 1920's!) The hole size is a 27, and the back-bore is slightly brighter than the 1 1/2, 3, and 5.
It is extremely comfortable and does not feel very small. It makes a wonderful all around mouthpiece and also a great piccolo or Eb trumpet mouthpiece. It also lends itself for those switching back and forth from a smaller commercial mouthpiece.
Band directors - I HIGHLY recommend starting your young players on this mouthpiece. Because of the size and shape, it will help them to get a good sound right away and to not develop any bad habits from straining on a mouthpiece that is too big.
